Daily ramblings?

Mmm... I think that may be a bit of a slight exaggeration with my efforts over the last few weeks... lol.. I'm lucky if I can get on the laptop to even look at the blog, let alone write a post.. I suppose I've just been a bit tied up with other things of late, and I covered just over a 1000 miles in a week up to last Saturday.

So what's been happening? Well, other than work, and demo's and well, work, not alot really.. hubby had a bit of a big op a few weeks ago, but is now hopefully on the mend after an infection took a bit of a grip on it - and I'm not even going to go into conversation about the hospitality of the NHS on this occasion!! I'll leave that one to your imagination - suffice to say, that I'm keeping fingers crossed never to come across a certain nurse on a certain ward and in the hope she's cheerful!!

Anyway.. other than this, we've had some cracking shows on Create and Craft... and we've got a new show with a new CD coming up on Tuesday, with our Sheila.. it's the release of a Boofle CD.. and it is lovely! I've had the pleasure of playing with it for the past couple of weeks, and it is soooo nice!!! Lots of lovely Boofle images and loads of lovely papers and embellishments.. you're going to love it.

I'm back in a couple of weeks, and have quite a few shows lined up so far.. I will keep you up to date with the dates and times when I get confirmations through.

May is going to be an extremely busy month for me, and I'm going to enjoy every minute.. I'm down in Bath too towards the end of the month, and Bournemouth for a short while, as well as coming here, there and everywhere! I love being busy - it's one way I can stay out of mischief.. lol..

Well. I'm back and posting, and will try to post more often... I do have lots of cards to share with you... so I'll try to get back in the evenings to upload those..

Check back soon - and thank you for staying with me whilst my posting is a little erratic.. lol.. xx

How cute...

Well my gosh.... I'm so behind with my blog posts lately, but in my defence I've done just over 1000 miles in the car this week with work..... So can you forgive me?

I thought I'd share a photo with you from the four day deal I had on create and craft last week.... Hot diggity dog.

I love this little fella, he so reminds me of my scooby... So cute.

The pic, if it attaches, is of the table with the product on... The amount of content was amazing for the price! (I'm doing this from my mobile whilst having a cup of tea in bed.... Luxury!!)

I will be back later with more photos for you. X x

Pwiddy flowers...

yes.. it's flower time! Photography. Flowers. Dogs. But this time just flowers, well, blossom to be more precise.

This is what our plum tree was amass with last week - but after the battering of rain, wind and snow ( !! ) today, then I'm not sure what will be left.. I didn't arrive home until late yesterday, so didn't have time to assess the damage.

The worst thing is about this weather, we have an abundance of little lambkins that have been put out to grass with their mummys... and they're so tiny. Poor little things must be frozen. Bless.. I hope they're okay.

Anyway.. photos... here you go... enjoy! I just think there's something quite magical about the dormant plants bursting into life within a short while of Christmas. Don't you?

Chronologically tested..

Evening... or should I say morning? all...

I thought I'd just come on and put up a very quick post to let you know I'm still here... alive and kicking, probably much to some peoples dismay.. lol.. but I am.. and I want to share with you a few cards from a previous Create and Craft show.

Did you see the release of our new DVD?? Our Sheila bought you the Capsule Collection DVD and I must say O.M.G... it is delightful. All my favourest favourite papers all in one place!!! And what's more, there's the Chronology section in there too. It is A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E!! I love the capsule colours, and the new range is stunning.. here are a few cards for you.

This one (and the one below) were created by increasing the size of one of the tags to produce an A5 card. I added some embossing onto the front and colourised it a little. I love the simplicity of it, and I thoroughly enjoyed playing around with the new updates and tools that are now on the Digital Designer.

I must say, I really liked producing this card above.. I love the shape, and it came together really easily. I used some of the butterflies from the Digi Stamp section on the DVD to create these, then added a glow and drop shadow. Pretty eh?

Also on the show, we had some fab papers (yes, proper books of!!!) and this little card was borne of the Mono collection. I used the papers from the pack, and printed out the topper and the flowers. See.... you can craft from DVD/CD and have a bit of creativity - I am loving CD crafting!
And honestly... if I'm a convert, I'm sure you could be too!

Ooooh this has to be my favourite card that I made. Not sure why, but I think it's the colours of the ribbons and things - PINK! Love pink.. so I turned the Chronology range into a mass of girliness with this card. Just by adding glows and shadows, and changing the colours, you can achieve a completely different type of look to it.

Playing again, and this time, I created the background paper (wordy one) with the sentiment panel I printed for the front. It's easy peasy... and I'm sure if you play with the discs, you will find loads and oodles of bits that you can do!

I hope you have liked the cards for today.. I'll be back tomorrow with a couple of photos I took the other day, but as I'm down at Create and Craft again for the day, it'll have to be scheduled so I don't forget!

Happy Crafting everyone! xx
