oh dear me!

Why is it .... when you start to sort out a crafting space to move it into another, you find all sorts of little treasures?

I was sorting out my Stampin' Up cupboard earlier this morning, and came across this Rose is a Rose stamp set that I'd swapped with someone last year. I forgot just how nice it was, so this afternoon when I got in, I know I needed to get it inked up.

Here's the card I made..I chose my favourite colour combo of Cherry Cobbler, Cream and Chocolate Chip.

Here's a closer up version of the lovely flowers.

I wanted a more vintage look to the finished card, so I used my fantastic spray gun (!) from Stampin' Up to distress it a little.. then I glammed it up by adding a bit of sparkle here and there.

I was also visiting one of my favourite blogs earlier that belongs to Jules, and I discovered there was a new challenge blog on the go.. Well.. of course I just had to join in didn't I? I mean, it would be rude not to.

To my delight, I realised that it was a sketch challenge.. and who doesn't love a good sketch eh?
This is the sketch -

So. That was my key to producing the card above. I love it, and I hope you do too. xxx

  10. I love this set to! Isn't it fab, such a shame that it has been retired from the catalogue. I'd never thought of making backgrounds from it before, think I will have to dust off my set and give it a go.
Don't you just love this challenge?!
