Fathers Day ...

Well, my To Do list has gone to pot again today.. and I should be making a start on some projects for next weeks shows, but all the fab cards that are over on the Crafty Bloggers Network on Facebook are keeping me from crafting.. so I've decided to come away from there, post on here and give you a little inspiration for Fathers Day...

The only fathers day card I send, is one to my husband, and this was just perfect for him this year as my lovely, wonderful hubby has been doing lots of work in the garden this year. Well, he and my fabbie next door neighbour Ian, who I can't thank enough for my new garden!!!

Anyway... here's the card I want to show. We created this one at my card class last week as we were learning how to colour with the Papermania watercolour pencils.. I think they all did really well and all the cards created were so lovely..

I used the sentiments stamps from Docrafts for the sentiment - nice and chunky, just what I like.. and they come in a pack of two, male and female.. so everyone is catered for.

Here's the close up..

Isn't he cute??

So, what are you doing for Father's Day? I think we're just going to have a lovely quiet day in.. maybe go out, maybe not.. I'll decide at a later time..

Whatever you're upto, please enjoy it.. but don't forget to get some crafting in too!

  13. Oh i'm rather late reading this blog entry but i just know Paul will adore this card you made!!! I still can't colour as lovely as you! Mind you i've been tackling our own garden...flowers only i'm afraid and me thinks the weeds are winning again! My many birdfeeders don't help much keeping the weeds at bay either when the birda are messy! Hope you and Paul had a lovely time on father's day! Gary n I went to dinner and a lil gamblin at the casino for Fathers Day here. Lovely day!
Cheers n loads of hugz ...Lesley xx
